I am angry and I am sad
And I am searching for a place to rest my head
But I’m too selfish and self-involved
All I can think of is how shitty I’ve become

Cause I never ask you how you’re doing
I never ask if you’re day was fine
I never wonder why you’re gloomy
I only focus on the pain that’s mine

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57
Slowcore, shoegaze, twee, and noise find their way into this ambitious full length from the St. Louis band Frankie Valet. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 9, 2020
Oklahoma duo Plain Speak serve up radiant power pop on their latest LP, surrounding sugar-sweet vocal harmonies with pealing chords. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 18, 2023
Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
