I’m not trying to shock you, I’m not trying to scare you
I’m not trying to gain your pity, respect, or envy
I’m yelling at you for my own selfish reasons
To ease the pain of being conscious
I’m just a worm feeding off the earth
I only know when it rains, I never see the sunlight ever
No, I haven’t been alive during the times
That I would call the good old times
You wanna be happy, I don’t wanna be sad
I just want the future to be better than the past
I’m grateful for my vision, I’m grateful for my health
I’m grateful for the weather, and I’m grateful for myself
I’m grateful that the future has so much possibilities
I’m grateful that there’s so much in this world that I’ve got left to see
This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57

Oklahoma duo Plain Speak serve up radiant power pop on their latest LP, surrounding sugar-sweet vocal harmonies with pealing chords. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 18, 2023
Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
